Salsicharia Pavao, is a family-operated business.  The first store was opened in the Acores Islands, and expanded all the way to Canada, always with the customer's satisfaction at heart.

Over 40 years ago, the first Salsicharia Pavao opened its doors in one of the Azores Islands.

Upon its great success, other stores were opened across other islands, such as:

Terceira, Faial, and Sao Miguel.

In 1998, Mr. Luis Pavao, decided that it was time to bring his product along with his experience and quality, to Canada.    The first Salsicharia Pavão, in Canada, was opened in Cambridge, where it served the community for over two years.  Later, in 1990,  salsicharia Pavao, moved to Toronto, where it's been operating ever since. 

In 1995 however, the management was transferred to Luis Pavao Jr. and Sandra Pavao , whom has been striving ever since, to bring the best quality, the best product, and the best prices to their customers.

Salsicharia Pavao, not only deals with the general public, but also provides supplies to a wide variety of other businesses such as restaurants and supermarkets.  In fact, Salsicharia Pavao is one of the top meat distributors for the chain of supermarkets "Modelo", in Portugal.
